My name is Jan Vucinich. I have been a Santa Barbara resident since 1977 and have always been drawn to working with young children and their families. I spent many years in the early childhood world, both as a teacher and an administrator. As a child development specialist, I had the privilege of working with families of zero to six year olds with developmental disabilities. I currently wear several hats, child development specialist, postpartum doula and quite proudly, a LLL leader. I am so grateful to have found LLL. I wish that I had been aware of it when my son was born in 2000. Helping families with babies and young children get off to a good start is profoundly rewarding for me.
